Tire Amnesty Day

The City of Hesperia, in conjunction with the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), holds Tire Amnesty Day events on four Saturdays each year. Tire Amnesty Day gives Hesperia residents a chance to recycle up to nine passenger and light-truck tires per household, FREE of charge.

Guidelines & Restrictions: 

• These events are open to Hesperia residents only
• Proof of residency is required
• Tires from waste tire generating businesses cannot be accepted
• A maximum of nine rimless tires per address will be accepted
• Semi-tractor tires over 44" or tires with rims will not be accepted
