Responsibilities
The Finance Division is responsible for the City's and subsidiary districts' short and long-term fiscal functions. Some of these tasks include:
Developing financial management policies and plans;
Coordinating and Preparing the Annual Budget and Capital Improvement Program (CIP);
Monitoring all City revenue and expenditures while periodically reporting to the
City Council
;
Performing all City debt management functions;
Providing program and financial analysis for various Citywide projects and initiatives, as well as employee salary and benefit negotiations.
